Prince Andrew’s Push for a Tell-All Sparks Royal Fears of Another ‘Harry’ Scandal

Prince Andrew’s latest career ambitions are reportedly causing concern within the Royal Family. The Duke of York is said to be eager to write a book detailing his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein—a move that is reportedly making King Charles uneasy.

According to a source quoted by Express, “Andrew keeps bringing up the idea of getting his side across via a book. But the family believes it is the worst thing he can do.” The source clarified that Andrew doesn’t intend to write a tell-all memoir similar to Prince Harry’s Spare, but rather wants to “set the record straight” about the Epstein scandal and the aftermath.

However, the Royal Family is reportedly worried that Andrew’s plan could be as damaging as Prince Harry’s memoir, which caused significant controversy. “Another Harry would be catastrophic for the family,” the source explained. “It’s better to keep Andrew close than to cut him off.”

The insider added that the family’s current strategy is to maintain Andrew’s involvement with the royals, believing that keeping him within the fold would minimize potential damage. “The feeling is that keeping him in the thick of it will cause less damage than if he were to go rogue and start firing shots at the family from the outside,” the source said.

There are also ongoing discussions about Prince Andrew’s living arrangements, with efforts being made to ensure he remains at Royal Lodge, his current residence.

With the potential for a tell-all looming, the Royal Family is said to be treading carefully, hoping to avoid another public rift that could further strain relations and tarnish their image.
