Katie Price Reveals Plan to Become an Escort to Escape Bankruptcy Woes

Katie Price has revealed her plan to become an escort as a means to escape her ongoing bankruptcy issues. The former glamour model, 46, was declared bankrupt in November 2019 and again in March due to an unpaid tax bill exceeding £750,000 owed to HM Revenue & Customs. She recently failed to attend court on Tuesday, July 30, where she was due to give evidence about her finances before a specialist bankruptcy court in London.

Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Catherine Burton issued a warrant for her arrest, stating Katie had received “very clear warnings” to attend. Katie is currently in Turkey after traveling there for her sixth facelift. After failing to appear in court, she told fans: “I have to continue in my work in order to satisfy these bankruptcy orders, which is all I am trying to do right now.”

Katie has devised a plan to get herself out of her financial troubles, as she revealed in her book, This Is Me. She wrote: “Bankruptcy doesn’t hold the same fear now I can see a way out of it. If material stuff is taken from me, I know I can earn it back. I will get into escorting if I need to, not to sleep with the men, just for company. To be on their arm. I think I’d be good at that.”

She added humorously: “My mum would tell me I need to work on my table manners first though. And by the way, that is a joke.” Katie was evicted from her Mucky Mansion in Horsham, West Sussex, in June after being declared bankrupt for the second time three months prior. She has suggested that it was her decision to move out.

The house has since been put up for sale with estate agency H.J Burt for a guide price of £1.5 million. However, potential buyers have been warned to take care when viewing the property due to its dire state, various burglaries, criminal damage, and unlivable conditions.

Issuing Katie’s arrest warrant, Judge Burton said: “It is in my judgment necessary that the court issue a warrant for Katie’s arrest. She has no real excuse for failing to attend today’s hearing. The reason for her absence today is irrelevant.” Judge Burton emphasized that an arrest warrant was not issued “lightly” but that Ms. Price had offered only “piecemeal co-operation” and failed to provide the “most basic information” regarding her bankruptcies.

Katie’s children Junior, 19, and Princess, 17, who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre, have reportedly been left “mortified” by their mother’s arrest warrant and fear negative press will overshadow their attempts to break into the entertainment industry. A source told The Mail: “Junior and Princess are now old enough to see right from wrong. They are well-adjusted, they have grown up in a household where there have been boundaries. So seeing their mum behaving like this is difficult for them, it’s sad. Junior is in the studio getting ready to release music and Princess is getting offered work all over the place, but they are so anxious that all they will be asked about is Katie. She is out of control.”

Defending her recent trip abroad, Katie claimed she was working on a documentary about corrective surgeries. She wrote: “I have and am continuing to cooperate with the relevant people on matters to the best of my ability, which will be addressed after my return from work. Despite consistent stories trying to humiliate me on my personal misfortunes, I am neither embarrassed nor ashamed. I own my situation, and I am trying my best to work my way out of it and put matters right. I am not running from matters.”
