Dual Affairs Two Prison Staff Members Sentenced for Relationships with Inmate

In a scandalous turn of events at HMP Buckley Hall in Rochdale, two female prison workers have been sentenced for maintaining simultaneous illicit relationships with the same inmate. Aleesha Bates, 29, a prison officer, and Jodie Wilkes, 27, an operational support grade staff member, found themselves entangled in romantic liaisons with a prisoner convicted of drug trafficking offenses, leading to legal repercussions for their misconduct in public office.

Bates, who initiated the forbidden relationship in December 2019, engaged in exchanging explicit messages and nude photographs with the inmate, a fact that came to light during a cell search by police.
