“I think it’s a very lonely feeling” Prince William ‘triggered’ by mom Diana’s memory amid Kate’s health scare

Kate Middleton’s recent health scare has brought back poignant memories for Prince William from his childhood. Royal expert Angela Levin, in an interview with GB News, drew a parallel between the current situation of the Princess of Wales and the late Princess Diana, highlighting that the future King is now better equipped to handle such crises.

Levin also suggested that Prince William may be experiencing a sense of loneliness as Kate recovers from her recent abdominal surgery, which took place in a private London clinic last week. In the midst of this, his father, King Charles, is taking a break at the Balmoral estate as he prepares for surgery to address an enlarged prostate.

“It’s a very lonely feeling, and I think he’s [William] doing his best, because he has children,” remarked the royal expert during her conversation with GB News. She went on to elaborate that while he can rely on the support and companionship of his and Kate’s children—Prince George, aged 10, Princess Charlotte, aged 8, and Prince Louis, aged 5—to bring some cheer into his life, the ongoing royal health concerns must inevitably trigger poignant memories from his own upbringing.

“Children can certainly bring joy during difficult times. He has the responsibility of looking after them, but in a situation like this, I believe he may be reflecting on his own mother’s experiences when he, at the tender age of 15, took on the role of ‘The man of the house,'” Levin continued.

Levin emphasized that, as a mature man, Prince William recognizes that his top priority is caring for his wife, who has been an unwavering source of support for him. Therefore, he has chosen to prioritize his family above all else during this challenging period, echoing the value of “family first.”
